Our mission is to rescue orphaned and at-risk cats and kittens by providing medical care and adoption, as well as reduce the overpopulation of community cats through TNR (trap, neuter, return).

Alora Giles is the “A” in ARM n’ Paw and serves as director in our organization. Alora has spent the last 3 years working with animals in various capacities. She started as an assistant with a mobile vet clinic where she found her calling for working with animals. She followed this passion into rescue, working in the kennel caring for cats and dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Working with shelter dogs ignited a drive in Alora to learn everything she could about dog behavior and use that knowledge to help them overcome stress and fear, ultimately helping them find forever homes. In addition to serving as our director, Alora is a full-time dog trainer where she uses her knowledge, skill, and experience to help dog owners understand their canine companions and strengthen the bond between dog and owner. She is currently a pet mom to 2 cats and 1 dog.

Rebecca Caldwell is the “R” in ARM n’ Paw. In addition to director, she also serves as our president. Rebecca is a lifelong animal lover who has been a pet mom to many species since she was a child. In addition to dogs and cats, she has owned fish, rabbits, hamsters, a ferret, a hedgehog, mice, a bird, and helped care for her sibling’s reptiles. Rebecca stumbled into rescue work in 2021 when she was trying to escape her job at the post office and never looked back. She took the opportunity to learn everything she could about animal care, including administering vaccines and sub cu fluids. When she took on her first set of bottle baby kittens, she truly found her calling: caring for the most vulnerable among shelter animals. Rebecca has 4 resident cats, a revolving door of foster cats and kittens, and is a dedicated caretaker for a colony of community cats that she helped TNR.

Amanda “Manda” Fletcher-Debo is the “M” in ARM n’ Paw. Manda serves as director and is our resident crazy cat lady with 13 cats, 2 dogs, and a bird, all rescues. Before helping to start ARM n’ Paw, Manda worked for several rescues in various positions, including foster coordinator and adoption coordinator. This is where she learned the ins and outs of how to run a rescue, as well as how not to run one. Her passion for animals is a force to be reckoned with and is only matched by her wealth of knowledge and experience in cat behavior and care. She’s never afraid to stand up for what’s right when it comes to animals and refuses to give up when many others would.
